1. From the home page at MarkelSurety.com, login to the Agent Portal

2. Click the SureQuick button

3. Enter the application data

4. At the bottom of the "Buy a Bond: Decision" page, you'll have the option to choose Agency Bill or Direct bill for the immediate transaction and future renewals.

SureTec Direct Bill - How It Works
Payment Type for this Transaction: Selecting Agency Bill means your agency will handle premium invoicing and collection, as usual.  Direct Bill means SureTec will handle invoicing and collection.
Direct Bill is available on new business, first year and at renewal, bond by bond.
Default Renewal Payment Type: Selecting Agency Bill means the agency will handle renewal notice + premium collection, as usual.  Direct Bill means SureTec will handle renewal notice + premium collection.
When you choose "Purchase Bond," the bond is considered issued and the documents are available.  If Direct Bill is selected, an email will be sent to the client containing a link for credit card or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment.  Your client has 14 days to pay, after which the premium rolls to your agency statement.
When you choose "Save Quote," the quote is available for purchase either by you or your client.  If you select Direct Bill, an email will be sent to your client containing details of the quote and a link for credit card or EFT payment.  Once payment is received, SureTec will ship the bond to the client.  Expedited shipping is available at an extra charge.  If no payment is received, the quote expires without obligation.
Decline Quote: Quote terminates.
Your agency name appears as Agent of Record on all email sent to your client, and you're copied on correspondence.
